SelfLube Will be Attending The Annual American Mold Builders Association Convention in Schaumburg, Illinois

Coopersville, MI (PRWEB) February 28, 2013

SelfLube is a partner of the American Mold Builders Association and has been for 15 years. The AMBA annual convention Pushing The Boundaries is where professionals in the mold builders industry can gather to share information on operations in order to improve profitability. SelfLube is the leading US manufacturer of mold and die components and both CEO Phil Allor and Sales Manager Greg Kirchhoff will be attending this years convention.

The convention last year pulled a record for attendance, which was held in Grand Rapids, MI practically in SelfLubes back yard. This year and just over 200 miles down the road from SelfLube, the convention will be in Schaumburg, IL. Those attending will have an opportunity to participate in peer-to-peer forums and plant tour workshops.

SelfLube does not build the actual mold. It manufactures key components used in a mold. Over the past several years, mold builders have been making greater use of standardized components. "It's a trend that is likely to continue," according to SelfLube owner Phil Allor. "The economics strongly point out in this direction. When a build shop uses SelfLube to supply components it frees up capacity, which it can then apply to building more molds and generating more income. The smart way of thinking of this is that they are using SelfLube to leverage capacity. Increased earnings with less capital investment and lower risk - what's not to like," adds Allor.

The AMBA has members that employee over 9,000 individuals and has nearly 300 companies as members. Amongst these companies are 12 chapters that extend across 31 states. AMBA has been dedicated to the US Mold Manufacturing Industry for over 35 years. The convention is for members to showcase their products and see what the rest of the industry is doing.

SelfLube will be exhibiting at the convention some of its popular items such as gib assemblies, wear plates, bushings, wear strips and related items. Most of which are available with or without self-lubricating graphite. For more information on this event go to: http://www.amba.org/2013_Annual_Convention.php.
