Delta Travel Center's New Traveler Education Program Alerts Members of Airports with the Worst Holiday Delays and Other Potential Concerns

Valencia, CA (PRWEB) December 21, 2012

Delta Travel knows that an informed traveler is better prepared when and if something goes wrong. According to Delta's management, travel agents at this private travel club are trying to educate their members whenever they book vacations that might warrant concern.

Delta's Travel Agent Mike said, "We get people who see a great deal on a cruise and they want to book it right away, never realizing that the only reason it's so low is that it's during hurricane season. And most times, these are people that are prone to get motion sickness. We always tell them to wait a few weeks, that it's not worth the savings to be sick on your vacation."

Another concern for members is getting stuck at an airport during the busy holidays. Mike continued to say, "We let them know, San Francisco International Airport is the worst with delayed flights and cancelled itineraries. Next two worth noting are Chicago's Ohare Airport and New York's JFK Airport. Even still, the George Bush Airport in Houston, which is normally the best airport still has delays during the holidays and that it's something to plan for, just in case."

Delta Manager, Joe, said, "The best part about being a member of Delta Travel is that if something does go wrong, they are just a phone call away. Jill S. is a member of Delta and she missed her flight in Dallas. While many other passengers scrambled to find a hotel room, Jill just called her travel agents and they found her a room right away."

Delta is a private, members only travel club where not only do members receive excellent service, they also get below retail cost prices on all travel. To become a member, one must attend a presentation at their Valencia office.
